Automatic Renewals Can Cost Your Business Money
Vendor agreements, software subscriptions, and service contracts often renew unless someone gives notice in time. The renewal date may sit in a PDF, the cancellation window in a clause near the end, and the last decision in an email thread.
When that information is split across inboxes, shared folders, and spreadsheets, the spreadsheet goes stale and the folder does not tell you a notice period is opening. By the time someone finds the agreement, the chance to cancel, renegotiate, or switch vendors may already be gone.
A signed PDF in someone's inbox is hard to find when the notice window is measured in days.
A renewal tracker only helps if it stays current and includes the cancellation deadline, not just the end date.
Storage keeps the document. It does not show which contracts renew automatically or who needs to act.
From uploaded agreement to a deadline you can see
Upload your contracts.
Add a PDF or DOCX agreement, or enter the details yourself. The original file stays attached to the contract record.
Review AI-extracted renewal dates, notice periods, and terms.
SlaVault suggests the end date, automatic renewal setting, cancellation notice date, parties, pricing, and a short summary. Change any field that does not match the document before you save.
Track deadlines and receive configured reminders.
Saved dates appear in your agreement library and on the dashboard. If you keep an alert date, SlaVault creates an email reminder for that contract. You can edit or remove reminders from the alerts page.
Verify AI-extracted information against the original agreement before you rely on it. Extraction speeds up data entry. It can miss custom wording or fill a field the document does not support, and it does not replace your review of the contract.
Watch an agreement become a tracked renewal
The walkthrough follows a contract from upload through the dates that come back for review. You will see where the renewal date, notice window, and reminder show up so you can act before the deadline.

Contract renewal and cancellation deadline tracking
Keep end dates, automatic renewal status, notice deadlines, and alert dates with each agreement. The dashboard and alerts page show which deadlines are coming up.
Searchable agreement storage
Store agreements in one library and search by title, party, type, pricing, or summary. The uploaded PDF or DOCX remains attached to the record.
Natural-language document questions

Questions about contract renewal tracking
How can I track contract renewal dates?
Upload a PDF or DOCX agreement, or enter the contract yourself. Review the extracted end date, automatic renewal setting, and cancellation notice date, then correct anything that does not match the document. After you save, those dates stay with the agreement in your library and on the dashboard. If you keep an alert date, SlaVault creates a reminder for that contract. You can review or change reminders from the alerts page.
Can SlaVault identify automatic renewal clauses?
Yes. When you upload an agreement, AI extraction looks for automatic renewal language and fills in an Auto Renews field you can change before saving. If the document does not clearly say whether it renews automatically, that field is set to yes. Compare it with the renewal clause in the original file and turn it off if it is wrong.
What happens if my contract has a cancellation notice period?
Extraction looks for the date you must give notice to cancel or avoid renewal. If the contract states that as a number of days before the end date, SlaVault calculates a calendar date and shows the detected notice deadline on the review screen, along with a suggested alert date. You can edit the alert date before saving. Saving with an alert date creates an email reminder for that agreement. The date in the contract still controls your cancellation rights, so confirm the extracted deadline against the original agreement.
Can I upload existing PDF or Word agreements?
Yes. You can upload PDF and DOCX Word files up to 10 MB. SlaVault stores the file and suggests contract details from it for you to review. Older .doc files are not accepted. You can also enter the details manually and attach a PDF or DOCX later.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial signup does not ask for a credit card. Start from this page, create your account, and upgrade later if you want to keep access after the trial. Pro is $20/month after the trial. A card is collected only when you start a paid subscription.
